Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy will now be dancing through life as parents of three.
The Dancing With the Stars couple has welcomed their third baby, another boy. On July 11, Peta, 37, and Maks, 44, announced the birth of their new addition, who joins their older sons Shai, 7, and Rio, 12 months. The couple has not revealed the name of their newborn.
"He is officially evicted from his mom and he is sooooo cute!!!!" Peta and Maks wrote in a joint Instagram post, alongside a photo of the three in a hospital room. "Birth details later but for now we wanted to let you all know that mom and baby are doing perfect, and delivery took around 47 seconds total! Exactly one push!"
Peta, who had battled infertility and pregnancy losses in the past, announced in February that she was expecting again and that her pregnancy was a surprise.
"We Are Having A Baby," the two-time Mirrorball trophy winner wrote on Instagram at the time. "Yes we know…we just had a baby… haha! This was very unexpected at (4 months postpartum with Rio) but we are sooooo happy and so ready to be a family of 5 soon!"
In March, the DWTS pros announced that they will be welcoming another baby boy.
"I've been quietly preparing myself to be a real-life wolf pack Mumma with our THIRD baby boy on the way," Peta wrote in a March 21 joint Instagram post with her husband of six years. "I CANNOT BELIEVE WE WILL HAVE 3 BOYS!!"
The couple shared a video from a sex reveal party, showing Peta and Maks, 44, posing for photos with their two eldest sons, parents and poodle Hachi, firing off a confetti cannon and celebrating with a cake filled with blue sprinkles that read, "We're here for the sex!"
"Maks and I are beyond happy to have another buddy for Shai and Rio," Peta wrote in the video's caption. "We want them to be the best of friends and thinking about family dinners already makes us laugh!"
In addition to his older brothers, the bundle of joy will also have a cousin to bond with—fellow DWTS couple Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson's son Rome, 16 months. "Shai is a great older cousin, older brother," she told E! News in February, "and Rome is obsessed with babies, like a little bit too aggressively, though he has a lot of passion when it comes to babies."
For Val, watching his son play with his brother and Peta's eldest is nostalgic. "The difference between Shai and Rome is exactly six years," the 38-year-old said. "So when you see them together, you really are reliving pictures of me and Maks because Shai looks exactly like Maks."
