Oh "Yeah!" — Usher's made it to the 2024 Met Gala.
Donning a black suit and hat accompanied by a cape, the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show headliner, 45, ascended the steps outside New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art Monday night while holding an accessory that looked like a dripping rose.
The all-black ensemble was a custom-made Alexander McQueen look designed by Seán McGirr. A closer look reveals "all-over jet stone embroidery and red dipped rose appliqué detail," an X (formerly Twitter) post from @McQueen explained.
Speaking with USA TODAY's Anika Reed on the red carpet, the Grammy-winning hitmaker described the outfit as "exotic, romantic but still within the garden theme."
Last year, the "Love in this Club" crooner stepped out at the Met Gala wearing a look created by Bianca Saunders: a black suit, black sunglasses, leather gloves and a cream tie paired with a glimmering tie knot broach in honor of the 2023 theme, which paid tribute to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
The R&B legend's appearance comes on the heels of some not-so-great news over the weekend as his Lovers & Friends music festival was canceled hours before it was scheduled to begin due to a high wind warning.
Usher, who had teased a full performance of his "Confessions" album for the first time to celebrate its 20th anniversary, took to Instagram to share his feelings about the festival's cancellation.
"Mannn ... I'm just as disappointed as you are," Usher wrote to his Instagram story Saturday. "We were getting ready to turn up and celebrate today. I have to follow the orders of city officials and the National Weather Service for everyone's protection and stand strong in my belief that everything happens for a reason.
"I'm sorry we won't get to see each other today, but know that I am always working on something to express my heartfelt gratitude for each and every one of you who continue to support me," he wrote. "I'll see you soon."

Usher has otherwise had a strong showing this year between his career-spanning Super Bowl performance, which was replete with Las Vegas showgirls, roller skates and his signature fluid dance moves, which led into the release of his ninth album "Coming Home" released in February.
Hours after his Super Bowl Sunday feat, Usher tied the knot with Jennifer Goicoechea, which whom he shares two of his four children: Sire and Sovereign, 3.
