It's been a big year of change in the Bravo-verse—and the year is only half over.
Since the start of 2024, many of the network’s most beloved reality series have been rocked by shocking departures and some even more surprising Bravolebrity returns.
When it comes to the Housewives, no city has seen a bigger cast turnover than The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In fact, longtime star Kandi Burruss shocked fans when she announced she was exiting the show ahead of its upcoming 16th season.
"It's been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long," Burruss told Variety in February. "But during that time I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I'm super excited about those things."
Just weeks later, Marlo Hampton and Sanya Richards-Ross also announced they were departing RHOA, while fan-favorite alum Porsha Williams revealed she’s returning after taking two seasons off.
Plus, three fresh faces will be mkaing their debuts as Atlanta Housewives.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Summer House lost one of its longtime stars when Danielle Olivera shared that she won’t be returning for season nine.
Calling her choice to exit "heartbreaking," the app developer explained in a June 25 Instagram post, "Obviously this decision didn't come without a tremendous amount of thought. Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can't put 100 percent of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn't feel right doing it in a full-time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that."
But those aren't the only surprising losses Bravoholics have experienced in the last six months. Keep reading to see the biggest Bravo cast shakeups of the year (so far).

Kandi Burruss, who joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta during season two, shocked fans when she announced that after a decade on the Bravo series she's leaving ahead of the upcoming 16th season.
"It's been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long," Burruss told Variety in February. "But during that time I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I'm super excited about those things."
But Burruss wasn't the only catmember giving up her peach. Marlo Hampton confirmed her own departure just weeks after Burruss' announcement.
"My contract with Real Housewives of Atlanta ended when season 15 wrapped," Hampton told E! News in a statement. "This break from RHOA is a fresh start, allowing me the space to participate in new creative entertainment projects focused on my future, and not reliving my past."
Then, Sanya Richards-Ross left after two seasons as a Housewife.
But with the departures of three Atlanta peaches came the return of a beloved RHOA alum: Porsha Williams announced she's returning for season 16 after taking two seasons off.
"I'm looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta," the reality star, who appeared on the show from seasons five through thirteen, shared in February, "and showing the world my new world!"
The Bravo series with the most uncertain future? The Real Housewives of New Jersey, who won't be sitting down for a season 14 reunion amid the increasingly fractured relationships between its cast, including Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Rachel Fuda, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Fessler .
But when it comes to rumors of a total re-casting, Andy Cohen firmly set the record straight.
"Everything that you've heard about casting on The Housewives of Jersey is untrue," he told E! News in June. "There will be no decisions made for many months on Jersey, so anything you read about casting on Jersey is not true."
No Housewife has had a more impactful first (and last) season than Monica Garcia. After it was revealed that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four newbie was behind an online social media account trolling her costars, the mother of four exited the series, Andy Cohen confirmed in January.
Much like their fellow Bravolebrities in Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast also got a major shakeup as three castmembers stars announced they are exiting amid major cast drama.
Among those putting down their champagne flutes ahead of season nine are series O.G. Robyn Dixon, longtime star Candiace Dillard Bassett and newbie Nneka Ihim.
Longtime Summer House star Danielle Olivera announced in June that she's leaving the show after seven seasons.
"Obviously this decision didn't come without a tremendous amount of thought," the app developer shared on Instagram after the season eight reunion. "Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can't put 100 percent of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn't feel right doing it in a full-time capacity."
"Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me—my company, my people, and of course myself," Olivera added. "However I'm involved this summer, you can bet I'll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam."
Making waves in SoCal is Alexis Bellino, who is returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 18 after leaving in 2013 following season eight.
Making things even juicier is the fact that she's currently dating costar Shannon Beador's ex John Janssen.
Cue the drama.
No Bravo show saw more of a cast turn-over in 2024 than Below Deck Mediterranean.
Besides returning Captain Sandy Yawn and alum Chief Stew Aesha Scott, the Mustique got an entirely new crew for season nine.
That meant season eight fan-favorites Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo, drama-loving Stew Kyle Viljoen and his nemesis Stew Natalya Scudder are no longer on our TV screens.
Annemarie Wiley—The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' incredibly polarizing season 13 newbie—proved to be a one-and-done Housewife after a season that mostly featured her questioning Sutton Stracke's medically diagnosed small esophagus (yes really).
"I'm disappointed is an understatement," the nurse anesthetist shared with fans on Instagram March 21. "What I am disappointed about is that the fans never got to see the real me or even a glimpse of my unique life story."
After taking season 13 off amid her ongoing feud with sister Kyle Richards, scene-stealing Kathy Hilton will be returning for season 14.
Plus, joining her will be new castmember Bozoma Saint John, Neflix's former Chief Marketing Officer.
In April, E! News confirmed that legendary designer Rebecca Minkoff is joining season 15 of The Real Housewives of New York City.
While it remains to be seen whether the fashion industry veteran will be a full-time Housewife or just appear in the background as a friend of the cast, Minkoff has filmed scenes with multiple Big Apple ladies.
